How HA solution would support Virtual Machince - Application Monitoring with same Ipaddress

Hello All,

I have below mention requirements to which I would like to use VMware HA solution for Application Monitoring Support :-

1. I would like to setup a two virtual machine [i.e with Active - Active / Active - StandBy] in same Cluster? Can I use HA VMware solution, without worry any implementation part that I need to put in Virtual Machine Apps - In case of Application Monitoring Supporting using VMware HA Solution?
2. Can I implement VMmware HA Solution with same IPaddress for two different Virtual Machine? If yes, then can someone help me to understand how would it be implemented
