vCenter OVA/ OVF Appliance VAAI Integration

I am sure this is asked a lot, but googled and searched forum and did not find threads.

I am having to rebuild my vCenter server(s) on 5.5 due to someone running the c: out of space and corrupting system.

I want to move to an more defined model using a dedicated vCenter "appliance" , but I have to demo and provide VAAI functionality.

Question:

1) can I setup VAAI on or with the vCenter Appliance?

2) Are their other such services or limitations for the vCenter Appliance for advanced demo / features which I need to be aware of?
