I can't even access services to stop the unresponsive services... I've rebooted multiple times, it takes anywhere from 3-5 minutes for the server to come back online and then just hangs while, seemingly, it attempts to start the services. VMware VirtualCenter Server doesn't start, neither does VMware VirtualCenter Management Webservices (although I don't think this is necessary). VMware vCenter Inventory Service is stuck at Starting. Nothing seems to want to work. I have java.exe services maxed out 100% CPU and taking up a lot of RAM (I did play with the MaxMemory settings in the wrapper.conf files. This seems to have had no effect).
This is a fresh re-install of our vCenter Server (we deleted the old vCenter Server from inventory and configured a new VM for vCenter) after upgrading one host to 5.5 (the other host is at 5.0). We have 2 hosts and maybe 15 VMs (small shop).
What are some things I can look at to fix this? I have no idea where to begin :/
Any insight or assistance?
