Greetings!
I have two (old) ESX 4.0 hosts, running Enterprise, with Vmotion etc. They are identical Dell 2950 machines.
I have a total of 15 machines running on them.
I can move all the machines to Host B, and other than a memory warning, they run fine. But, if move more than 2 of the machines to Host A, they all peg their virtual processors. So, Host A is idling along with 2 machines on it, while Host B is doing all the work, even though they are identical machines.
I have run Memtest on the suspect machine, and everything reports fine.
Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?
I am planning to upgrade them to 5.1 in the future. Is that "upgrade path" a good way to fix this issue?
