vCenter 5.5 Apliance with Active Directory (LDAP) SSO do not work as expected

Hello at all,

I'm setting up the vSpher vCenter appliance 5.5a and configured the SSO with Active Directory (LDAP). (Joining the domain works without any problem).

The problem I have is: a User with a custom UPN can login to the vSphere web-client, but the message "Client is not authenticated to VMware Inventory Service" appears and he dont have any rights

For example:
the FQDN of Active Directory domain ist "myaddomain.net" the users UPN is mayer@mye-maildomain.com or admin@admins.myaddomain.net. If they login to the web-client they get the message "Client is not authenticated to VMware Inventory Service"

But if a user logs in whose UPN match the FQDN of the Activ Directory domain it works like expected.

In short:
if the User johnson@myaddomain.net logs in to vSphere web-client it works perfect

if the User mayer@mye-maildomain.com or admin@admins.myaddomain.net logs in to  vSphere web-client the message "Client is not authenticated to VMware Inventory Service" appears.

Does anyone knows a resolution for that.

Thank you in advance

Daniel
