I have created an LDAP connection to AD, and the "Test Connection" comes back successfully. I have it set for LDAPS, and imported the cert from the CA, and the connection points to the same DC which is also the CA Root.
I cannot log in to the vCenter server with vSphere Client using any domain credentials - the only creds I have found to work is a local user on the vCenter server.
When I go to register the vCenter server, I am getting this:
Unable to connect to vCenter Server system "[ anything ]".
- where [anything] = IP address, host name, or FQDN.
Oddly, this just started happening. Until late last week, I was able to log in using vSphere Client using domain creds.
