Hello I have been trying to research a particular setup and have not had any luck. Any direction or support would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance. Current setup:
Software:
VCenter 5 Standard, Vspehere 5 Standard, VmWare View.
Datastore on ESX Host no virtuals Datastore on SAN contains all the hosts.
Hardware:
Server is direct connected to SAN via 4 mini-SAS connections. SAN is formatted entirely with 1 array. Separate Physical server hosting VCenter. I am adding another ESX host and planning on direct connecting to remaining 4 mini-SAS connections on SAN controllers.
Questions:
Will both hosts be able to see and access virtuals on SAN?
Do I have to install a second View controller on the new host for fail-over to work? or is that handled at the VCenter level?
