I think I made a little mistake when adding a new server to my "cluster"
I have 2 servers. Server01 and Server03.
All the VM's are on Server01, but most (not all) need to be moved to Server03. As a note, I am not using any external storage, these servers all have internal storage.
I shut the VM down, right clicked it, hit migrate and told it to "Change both host and Datastore"
everything went well. well sorta. It seemed to have copied the entire VM's directory to the new server, but the old directories are still there. Here's the killer, they have been renamed to the current name also, so I am not sure what is what?
Did I do something wrong. how do I, and can I rectify this. I have a few more VM's that I want to move onto this new server, but I am not sure what is the best course of action.
I'm running Vcenter Standard 5.1
