Guest Operating system: Windows Server 2008 R2 Data Center 64-bit
This is what I get when I try to install, uninstall, or upgrade Vmware tools. I have tried going to another PC that has the installation going and finding the MSI and moving it over, changed reg key settings, deleted folders, renamed folders. You name it anything that the internet has told me to try I have tried. This is a production environment so any outage must be after 10 PM. I am totally stumped and am about to open a ticket with VMware in order to troubleshoot the issue. Does anyone have any clue as to how to fix this horrible error?
