Hi everybody,
I am running VMware vCenter Server 5.1.0.33762 on a Windows 2003 virtual server (not on a domain). I've upgraded the vm's ram from 3GB to 5GB and after i made this change the vCenter Server Server is refusing to start.
I've downgraded to 3GB ram but that didn't help me either.
I'm getting Windows Error Code 2 and the event 1000 in the event viewer.
As you can see in the screenshot below, SSO, inventory Service and VCMSDS have been started.
I've also uploaded the vpxd.log but here is the interessing part:

I found two posts that might be similar to my problem:
As described here, i tryed to change the SQL Port from dynamic to 1433 and than rebooted the server but that didn't work either.
I've tryed to reinstall the hole server but ended up at the same problem! What's no with the second installation is that i'm getting the following error if i try to login to the vsphere webclient.
Cannot connect to vCenter Single Sign On server https://vcenter.domain.com:7444/ims/STSService?wsdl.
The other errors are still the same.
Many thanks for your help,
Chris
