Error creating host profile

Hi I'm running ESXi 5.5 Update 2 Build 2068190 and I can't seem to be able to create a host profile form any of my hosts. I recently had to rebuild a host and decided to create a host profile from this host but the operation fails with the following error:

Error: com.vmware.profile.hostCacheConfig.EsxcliError

I came across https://communities.vmware.com/message/2370482 but my DNS settings are correct on the host.
