ESXi 6.0 and Intel quad gigabit adapter

First of all, I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong place.  I am new here and the navigation structure to find where to post was very, very confusing.

I had installed ESXi 6.0 eval on a USB stick on an intel Atom D2550 with an Intel gig NIC onboard.  Everything ran fine, everything was detected.

I moved that USB stick to a different system with a Realtek onboard NIC and an Intel quad gig PCIe card.  Of course the Realtek wasn't found, but the four Intel gig NICs showed up just fine.

I then downloaded the Realtek vib file and used the customizer to create a new ESXi 6.0 installer ISO with Realtek support.  Installed just fine and the Realtek NIC is working, however, now the Intel NIC is not being detected.

So does the customizer *replace* any network drivers with the VIB specified (ie, it didn't load any Intel drivers at all in lieu of the Realtek)?  How can I get the Intel NIC to be detected?

Thanks.
