Adding a 4 port network adapter to host

I want to add a 4 port network adapter to the host server for more bandwidth between the vms and the local network.  Can some one explain the process of combining these ports or configuring them to be utilized in the event the server needs more bandwidth?  I currently am running esxi 5.5 and vcenter.  Thank you!
