vSphere 5.5 timing out deploying 8GB guest over slow network

Hello,

I am trying to deploy an Avamar AVE OVA applicance over a slow network. vSphere gets about 75% of the way done then times out. Is there any way to force the system to be more patient when running a lengthy operation like this?
