Hopefully someone can provide some insight.
I have a new VC (5.01b) vcenter setup with signed certificates. I have a separate SSO server, a separate SQL server 2008r2, and then the VC server with the rest of the components. This environment is running with out any issues.
I am trying to install SSO i select multisite on the DR site installation and after a few moments the install hangs and i continue to get the hour glass. The installation logs do not update.
There is no firewall in place between the DR and the production site. I have verified the the required ports can communicate with the local SQL server and to the SSO server in our production site. I have gone as far as turning off the windows firewall, UAC, and antivirus. I am installing as an administrator and selecting run as administrator. I have also verified the registry on the production server that the site is set to primary.
I have also tried to install an additinal SSO in the production site and i get hesame issue. So i really do not think it is a firewall or latency issue between the 2 sites.

The logs stop at that same place each attempt for the installation.
I have recreate the VM and downloaded new media just in case and still have the same issue.
I do have a case open with VMware but really not making any progress. Hoping that someone out there has seen this issue and can provide some insight
