As I'm trying to migrate my virtual machines from my VMware environment to a Hyper-V server it fails when the "convert disk" process starts. The log file i says:
"02/11/2015 11:22:07 +01:00 [11] EXCEPTION: Microsoft.Accelerators.Mvmc.Engine.ForVMware.Exceptions.VMwarePostReceiveException: Receiving response from VMware failed after multiple attempts. See inner exception. ---> System.InvalidOperationException: Permission to perform this operation was denied. ---> System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error.
at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse()"
So, clearly I'm missing some right privileges, but since this is at a college I can't get full admin right to the vCenter. Does anybody know exactly what kind of right one must have to migrate VMs with MVMC(Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter) to Hyper-V.
