How do I automate plugin registration on the vCenter Web Client

Hi,

I am trying to automate the procedure of registering a custom made plugin on the vCenter Web Client. I can see that it is possible to do this programmatically using the desktop client but how is it done when using the Web Client?

I would appreciate if someone could point me to a knowledge base article or an example.

If automation is not possible what alternatives do I have?
