Hello,
I am working on VDI project and I can't wake up my VMs.
I tested with a physical workstation, it works.
I added <ethernet0.wakeOnPcktRcv = "TRUE"> in the .VMX file, it didn't help.
I set up "Put the guest operating system in standby mode and leave the virtual machine powered on" and "Wake up LAN" in "Power Management", it didn't help too.
After read and reread the documentation Vsphere 5.5 (vSphere 5.5 Documentation Center ), i don't understand "Wake on LAN can resume virtual machines that are in an S1 sleep state only. It cannot resume suspended, hibernated, or powered off virtual machines."!
What does it mean? What's a "S1 sleep state"?
ESXi: 5.5
VM Version: 10
VM guest OS: Windows server 2012
Thanks for help
Benjamin
