I have a very precise question concerning this possible issue.
I have 3 hosts with no local VMFS (ESXi installed on flash cards) and all Datastores are on SAN.
VCenter Server is a VM residing on SAN.
SAN access is configured with iSCSI connected through a vDS.
What would happend if there is a power outage?
Let's say I power on the SAN first, then try to power on the Hosts, would the hosts have access to the SAN even if vCenter Server is still powerd off (and would be because it is aVM) ?
