Copy ISO file from ESXi datastore to VM

Hello there,

I am quite new to virtualisation and unable to figure out way(s) to copy ISO file that sits on datastore to a VM. Basically, I have already installed ESXi and couple of Windows 2008 VM's. Planning to use one of this VM as vCenter server. Now I have already downloaded from VMware site and uploaded vCenter ISO to one of the datastore.

However, unable to work out how can I copy this ISO file to this VM so that I can install vCenter server? I did read up some stuff on internet and tried to use WinSCP from within VM using host IP address but I get "no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. connection failed". This is even after I have enabled FTP client on ESXi host in firewall. I am able to SSH (putty) to ESXi host without any problems.

How can I get this working? Is there any simple method that could work? Is WinSCP way to go? If so, why would it not work? Please note this is home lab environment and there are no other firewalls in between.

thanks
