Enable Users to view All machines

ok, I imagine this is a very basic question but I cant find the answer!

We have just setup vCAC 6.1

The intended use is so that a group of developers can self provision VM's

I have created blueprints and some user accounts, groups etc.

One of my business groups points at an AD group for its members. I want the people in that group to be able to see everyone else's machines.

So UserA logins in, creates a VM. userB logs in and should be able to view UserA VM as they are in the same group

Is that feasible?

I notice that if I make everyone a group manager then under "Items" they can view all, however this also seems to give them a little too much access to editing catalog management etc

I could probably also give the group access to the vSphere Folder these machiens create under but I would rather avoid assigning out the vsphere web client too

is this a basic setting? Can VMs be shared across the group as default?

EDIT: I may have answered my own question. Adding the group as Support users in the Business Group seems to restrict them enough. Is this how everyone else does it or is there still other considerations? Any advice appreciated. Cheers

Thanks

Jon
