i have recently upgraded from vsphere 4.1 to Vsphere 5.0 Update 3 sql server 2005 express
i have upgraded both the vcenter database and the update manager database to sql 2008 r2 express
vcenter is upgraded and connects fine.
when i try to install update manager and point it to the existing database i get an error: (which i think might be due to the sqlcli native client )
i know the un and pass are valid as i can log into teh datbase through sql management studio
When i try to install update manager and chose to create a new database instance it hangs here:

any ideas what is the fault?
