Need help migrating vcentre 5.0 to 5.5

Folks,

we have a few servers with each hosting about 10 VMs. The hosts run ESXi5.0 and vcentre 5.0. We have a very large DvSwitch configuration. Just to give you an example, each VM has around 4-6 NICs.

Now we need to migrate the vcentre to 5.5. We do not want to go through the pain of reconfiguring every NIC in the VMs. Whats the best way to do it?

Is there a way to export configuration 5.0 and import it on 5.5? If yes, hope we dont have to manually configure the NICs with port configurations?

Any suggestions are welcome.
