Has anybody managed to make vsphere web client work on windows 8.1?
The only combination I can get to work is by completely removing client integration tools and disabling the remote console plugin which then works for a short while, but you have no mouse cursor.
If we install the client integration tools it will work for a short while, we have to rotate through browsers, IE, Firefox and Chrome.
We have this issue across all of the PC's in the business.
It is just unworkable and seriously making us consider moving everything in the datacentre to Hyper-v.
You cannot rely on the web client to manage issues at the datacentre when you don't know if it's going to work or not.
With hindisght I would have left all of the VM's on an old virtual hardware version and stuck with the traditional client.
Does anybody else have these issues? I can't believe this product got past QA testing.
