I know it's possible to use PowerCLI to scan for VMs with a connected CD-Rom and automatically disconnect it. Is it possible to provide a list of VMs with CD-Roms that have been connected for more than a certain period of time and then automatically remove them?
I have users of my vSphere environment that apparently think their mom will come clean up after them and disconnect the CD-Roms for them, and I basically need to do just that to prevent connected CD-Roms from preventing successful automated vMotions.
