If you have a 3-host cluster, what would be best practice for maintaining High Availability with regards to vCenter Server (not the appliance)? Eventually, there will be more hosts, but there are 3 starting out. Should the SQL database be in the same VM as the the instance of vCenter Server connected to it if the resources of that VM are up to par or would it be better to have the DB on a separate host? The 3 hosts have the same specs other than memory, but there should be plenty in the event of a failover. Recommendations anyone?
