how to redirect vdp server /space

My VDP server :  /dev/sda2 always display:no space, I need to cleanup it manually.  please following error:

Filesystem            Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on

/dev/sda2             7.9G  7.9G    0  100% /

Note :Removing files to create space is a temporary solution. You should consider moving a space-consuming directory to the/space directory, and creating a link to the new location.

action:moving a space-consuming directory to the/space directory, and creating a link to the new location.

So,I want to know how to do this :creating a link to the new location and redirect it.
