Guidance for redeploying Vcenter 5.0 to 5.5

Hi,

I currently have a Vcenter 5.0 environment. I

I want to fresh install  5.5. Rather than upgrade from 5.0 to 5.5. Main reason is that we are using the SQL2005 Express currently.

I want to uninstall 5.0 completely and install 5.5.

I want to retain all of my permissions and folder structure.

So what I want to do is...

export my permissions and folder structure

Uninstall Vcenter 5.0

Install Vcenter 5.5

import permissions and folder structure.

Does anyone have a high level overview of what this requires?

Again rather than upgrade I would prefer to deploy fresh.

Does performing the simple upgrade upgrade SQL 2005 Express to SQL 2008 Express?
