SRM With SAS connections

hi,

I am going to make a proposal for a DC & DR site with vcenter Site Recovery manager. We use IBM DS3524 (firmware version 7.84.44.00) storage with SAS connections to the hosts. vmware says SRM supports only with ISCSI and Fibre channel. So can i do the SRM replication with SAS connections. please update me asap guys.
