I set up a Branch Office VPN between our main office and where our vSphere is located and I am successfully able to open vCenter Server using the client. [I can also RDP to the individual workstations but this is not how we need to connect] However, when I try to open/launch a console view for any of the VMs, it sits for a bit then finally displays the error message "Unable to connect to the MKS: Failed to connect to server port xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:902" which is the address of the host that VM resides on. We obviously have a firewall between and I even put in a policy to allow port 902 in all directions just to see if that worked. The firewall settings on the host (ESXi firewall) show that it allows port 902. Why am I getting this message and why can't I connect to a VM?
