We are currently having an issue where our VirtualCenter Server service is stuck between starting and started. I have looked at a few suggestions on here and cannot seem to resolve this issue!
The message received is below
The description for Event ID 1000 from source VMware VirtualCenter Server cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
[ServiceDirectory] Local service endpoint CB98E1A6-6042-4B0F-9733-AB5E7C94C8AC/VIMAPI not registered, distributed services may not be available. Please verify registered service data.
the message resource is present but the message is not found in the string/message table
Any help on this issue would be gratefully received
