I am setting up a LAB to practice for VCP

I have VMWare workstation which has VMs for ESXi, vcenter server appliance , windows 2008.openfiler

I am unable to add the ESXI host to vcenter server appliance

I am getting the following error after I give the password for the ESXI root

"com.vmware.vim.binding.vmodl.fault.Systemerror can not be cast to com.vmware.vim.binding.vim.host.ConnectInfo

I am able to ping between all the devices.

Could someone give a direction to resolve this issue
